Wedding Photography | Miami & Fort Lauderdale | Daniel Lateulade bio picture

Shortly after buying my first camera, I decided that I was going to be a war photographer. I wanted to take the picture -- to capture a moment that would change the world for the better. Something that really, truly mattered.

I shot my first wedding as a favor when the photographer cancelled at the last minute -- and instantly knew that I’d found what I was meant to do with my life. I was doing so much more than taking pictures. I was helping people share the most important moments of their lives with others. Something that really, truly mattered. I was telling their stories.

I’d love to tell yours.

Rooftop Fourth of July Party

Stephanie and I joined our friends in showing America some love at CityChurch’s rooftop Fourth of July party at The Exchange Lofts in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Between the Brazilian skirt steak with pineapple, the Landshark lager, the DJ, and competing for theories as to how they installed an all-aluminum swimming pool on the roof of a six story building (my brain says “in pieces on the elevator” but my heart says “helicopters !!”) it was the best party in town. Here ya go!

Seth & Amy’s Portrait Session | Hollywood Circle

Seth and Amy are amazing people, and great friends to Stephanie and I. We met at church a few months ago, and we (and their two giant boxer puppies) instantly hit it off. Seth and I share the same sense of humor, which has given our wives plenty of opportunity to bond over eye rolling ;)

They won a portrait session with me at CityChurch’s auction to benefit a missions trip to Haiti, and wanted to be able to be able to share their photos on their annual family camping trip in the Smoky Mountains two weeks ago.

Seth (who’s also a photographer) and I found a really amazing park in downtown Hollywood while out with our cameras a few weeks ago, and he was really excited to have their photos taken there. Naturally, with the universe conspiring against us, we got there and it was closed! We made the best of it though, and stopped at a small cafe downtown before heading over to ArtsPark at Young Circle, where we learned that although splashing your significant other with fountain water is cute in Hugh Grant movies, it just makes you cold and wet in real life.

Seth and Amy, you two are AWESOME!
