Wedding Photography | Miami & Fort Lauderdale | Daniel Lateulade bio picture

Shortly after buying my first camera, I decided that I was going to be a war photographer. I wanted to take the picture -- to capture a moment that would change the world for the better. Something that really, truly mattered.

I shot my first wedding as a favor when the photographer cancelled at the last minute -- and instantly knew that I’d found what I was meant to do with my life. I was doing so much more than taking pictures. I was helping people share the most important moments of their lives with others. Something that really, truly mattered. I was telling their stories.

I’d love to tell yours.

The Hunter Family, Part Deux

The Hunters are probably the coolest people you’ll ever meet. Rick’s our pastor over at CityChurch and married my wife and I, which automatically gives him some pretty solid credentials in my book. Also, he’s something of a psuedo-tabloid darling. As if that weren’t enough, he and Dede own the coolest coffee shops in Fort Lauderdale. It’s a logical progression to assume their three children have some sort of superpowers or something equally astounding.

The Hunters really believe in loving Fort Lauderdale as Jesus would have us do, and so choosing our photo locations was a no-brainer. We started off on top of the library parking garage where our church gets together to pray on Tuesday mornings, and headed on down to Riverwalk afterwards. When people realized what was going on, they began swarming us in helicopters just to be associated with the dangerous amounts of radness we were giving off.

Brad & Laine’s Engagement

Brad and Laine are 31 flavors of amazing, with a mystery flavor to boot. They’ve been married for a few years now in a tragic engagement photo-less state, so we got together, took off for Downtown Ft. Lauderdale, and awesomeness commenced. The City of Fort Lauderdale, upon seeing these photos, officially designated our photoshoot locations Broward County Historical Landmarks.*

*this is a lie.

Robby & Tiara

Without a doubt, Robby & Tiara are some of the coolest people I know. Tiara lived with my wife and kept her safe from robbers and prowlers and werewolves and such the month before we got married, and Robby boasts the fiercest pirate-like scowl in all of municipal Fort Lauderdale. We headed over to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, and then walked across the street to the beach. Their awesomeness was in such full effect that sea turtles started coming ashore to get in on the action. I’m super psyched to shoot their awesome outdoor Georgia wedding this summer!
